GHD welcomes Michelle Villa to Western Australia

Global Engineering Consultancy welcomes Michelle Villa, GHD Veteran Sustainability Consultant, to courses in Australia.

Born in Italy, Michelle Villa has over three decades of experience in business consultancy services in the environment, health, safety and social impact in Europe and Australia. Recently, he managed his own consulting (“Nextstep Consulting”) and digital startup (ADAM AI Solutions) to provide (digital) solutions to sustainability and workplace problems.

Previously, he spent more than fifteen years in leadership positions at three major consulting firms. Villa was the director and leader of the Global Practice Leaders Team and Knowledge Management Center at DuPont Sustainable Solutions, a 1,000-member consulting firm dedicated to environmental issues and health and safety.

Previously, Villa was a partner of EY in Australia, where he led the operations of the Climate Change and Sustainability Services Group in Western Australia, the Perth Office Managing Partner (Largest in the World) of Enterprise Risk Management Pure Play Sustainable Consulting). This role coincided with his move to Australia in 2006 – where he previously headed a local ERM company in his native Italy.

At GHD, a global leader in water, energy and urbanization, founded in Australia (1928), you lead the Digital Villa D-Lab in Western Australia, an innovative training that helps transform customers and create new value and business influence. He will also be responsible for the development of GHDs’ environment, health, safety and sustainable services in the region.

Identify risks in the specialization areas of the villa, improve business performance, and implement best practices for future emissions trading, environment, health, safety management systems, sustainability and management programs. Oil, gas, mining, manufacturing and service sectors.
