Approximately 500 horses and 332 riders are registered for the CSI* SH Holstein International. It will be launched on Wednesday afternoon following a high response.

New Munster. With Trakehner Stallion Days and Holsteiner Licensing postponed this year, the SH Holstein International Show Jumping Tournament is the only equestrian event this October. Otherwise, since the three events follow each other, the same logistics of floor or technology can be used.

This year is different. Discussions were resumed with Dirk Iverson from Holstenhallen Companies and a viable utilization concept was developed. “We didn’t know what energy prices we were facing,” explains Harm Sievers (Tassdorf), who is leading the tournament with Thomas Voss (Sholp) and Merv Henningsson (Rastorf). In general, Holstenhallen and the city of Neumünster were very committed to the tournament. “The city doesn’t label itself a horse town for nothing,” Voss says. It is also an advantage for the organizers that none of the previous years’ sponsors have cancelled. New ones are added instead. “As a result, we are able to continue to provide free access,” Voss explains. However, there will only be a live stream on Saturdays and Sundays: “We want people to be in the hall.”
