Foreign Minister Sophie Wilms pays official visit to Ireland and United Kingdom

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Sophie Wilmes is on an official visit to the United Kingdom this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This mission is taking place specifically in the context of Brexit.

During the first stopover in Dublin, Sophie Wilms meets with her Irish counterpart, Foreign Minister Simon Cowan. They will meet with the NGO GreenCreen Center for Peace and Reconciliation to discuss the situation in Northern Ireland, which crystallizes tensions between the European Union and the United Kingdom in the wake of Brexit.
