Filming for ‘Vikings: Valhalla’ Season 3 will begin in May 2022

Shooting of the third season Vikings: Valhalla Netflix will make its debut in Ireland in the coming months. It is currently scheduled to launch in May 2022.

If you’re wondering why we’re talking about Season 3 when Season 2 has not yet been released on Netflix, let us fill in the gaps.

When I ordered the Netflix series, it was pre-purchased with 24 episodes. What we did not find out later was that those 24 episodes would be split into three seasons. Netflix has officially confirmed the order for three seasons after Season 1 hits worldwide service. Filming for Season 2 of the series was completed in November 2021.

It’s a little early to know what Season 3 will be, but we know Jeb Stuart will continue to direct the series. We also know that Sam Corlett (Leaf Eriksson), Frida Gustavsson (Freudis Erikssdotter), and Leo Sutter (Harold Sigurdsson) will reprise their roles.

In its confirmation, Netflix announced that the filming of the third season will begin in “Spring”, that is, in the spring of 2022. We can now confirm that filming will start in May 2022. According to the Irish Examiner, filming will continue every summer. .

Production will continue in Ashford and Wicklow, Ireland.

Production is actively looking for paid extras for the upcoming third season. If you are in Ireland or would like to come to Ireland in the summer, feel free to apply. You can find details on how to apply in the poster below or stay up-to-date with your i-AccountInstagramValhalla Extras.
