Amazon’s 2020 event is over, and since 2019 we haven’t got anything weird like Echo Frames or Echo Loop, but a few announcements are very close.
The big headline news is Amazon Luna, the new games streaming service that opposes Google Stadia and Nvidia GeForce Now. It is now in early access, with big Ubisoft games like Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla also available at their launch date, and more than a hundred titles.
Another big announcement from the event was a new line of Amazon Echo speakers – all with weird and soccer ball-like designs that are a big departure from previous years’ Echo speakers.
Those were the big ticket items announced at the Amazon event, but there was so much to get excited about, from flying security camera drones to Qt echo dot smart speakers with fun animal prints.
The Amazon hardware event time is aptly timed, just a few weeks before we expect Amazon Prime Day 2020 to launch in mid-October. This means that the company’s old products can see huge discounts at the sales event, and now have new equipment in their place.
Let’s take a closer look at those new devices – without further ado, here are all the products announced at the Amazon 2020 event:
