England’s XV: Manu Tuilagi not out against Ireland

Published on

The English rugby team said in a press release that Manu Tuilagi was not in the list of 25 English players selected on Wednesday to prepare for next week’s match against Ireland.

The English center are recovering from a hamstring injury they already missed from XV de la Rose’s victory over Wales at Twickenham last Saturday (23-19). English hooker Luke Cowan-Dickey, who hit his knee against the Welsh, was also left on the sidelines like second-order Johnny Hill, who suffered an ankle stress fracture. Third-ranked Tom Curry follows a concussion protocol after being hit in the head against Leak XV, which will benefit Gloucester player Luis Ludlow, calling it a strengthening.

Uncapsulated London Irishman Will Goodrick-Clarke has been named in the 25-man squad for the forthcoming tournament against Ireland in Twickenham on March 12.
