The European Championship 2024 in Germany already offers qualifiers. It was a repeat of last year’s European Championship final between defending champions Italy and England. The French and Dutch giants were drawn into a group by Losfein Jurgen Klinsmann and Karl-Heinz Riedel. Coach Ralf Rangnick has connections with the Austrian national team to Belgium and Sweden. That was the result of Sunday’s draw at the Frankfurt Festhalle.

There are a total of ten qualifying groups (seven groups of five and three groups of six). Group winners and runners-up will qualify for the European Championship in Germany. The other three participants who failed to qualify through the traditional route will be determined via play-offs based on their performance in the recently concluded Nations League season. The Russian national team has no chance of an EM ticket from the very beginning. UEFA has suspended Russia from all competitions for its aggression against Ukraine.
As hosts, the German national team automatically qualifies for the final round from June 14 to July 14, 2024, and is one of the 24 participants who do not have to fight through the elimination round. Eligibility is between March 23 and November 21, 2023.
