On the second day of the Grand National Meeting in Eintree, Tronador won a victory over Ireland and opened the Pertemplus Network Handicap Hurd.
A 22-1 shot from Denise Foster, the lone runner in the race across the Irish Sea, led to the final challenge from a distance under Jack Kennedy and crossed two long lines and a half.
He was followed by 18-1 finalist Dance Le Went, and consistent Edwardstone again took credit for third – another two-and-a-half length.
