First announcements for the Dinard British Film Festival 2022 edition
33rd edition of Dinard British Film Festival Again organized into 5 thematic sections, distributed as follows:
– It’s Rain Me : around male personalities in unexpected situations;
– girl power : Highlighting enthusiastic and creative women;
– Cinema – Past, Present and Future : feature films that question the evolution of film viewing;
– Eccentrics & Free Spirits: The honiest section of the line-up;
– Irish eyes on Dinard: New movies from Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
A selection of short films grouped by genre shortcutswill be put to a public vote.
While waiting for the full selection to be unveiled in early September, the organizers have already announced a few titles from this 2022 edition. Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange) etc Claire Foy (the crown) in a romantic drama, The Extraordinary Life of Louis Wayne.
Two documentaries, Nothing is equal and singer Sinead O’Connor Young Plato A primary school principal working in a sensitive area of Belfast will be gifted to festival goers.
Dinard British Film Festival marks its attachment to TV series by presenting one of the best series of this first half of 2022. It’s gonna hurt, with Ben Whishaw (Q in the James Bond saga) as a young doctor working in a hospital in an obstetrics department.
For the young audience, A School Art Festival Film concerts and interesting workshops around British cinema will be offered alongside films dedicated to primary and high school students.
