Dominators from start to finish, Ronan O’Gara’s Rochelles masterfully handled this second day of the Champions Cup, with the Maritimes facing a burst of pride from the Northern Irish in the second half but not faltering to win.

In the first period, three-quarters Bryce Dulin and Antoine Hasteau scored a try each, while in the second, Pierre Bergerit distinguished himself. The La Rochelle opener capitalized on a pack of ultra-dominant forwards in the first half following a lack of discipline from their opponents on the evening to score points (21 points) on foot.

Les Rochelles continue their fine run in the Champions Cup with a second win. With 9 points already in Pool B’s provisional classification, they took a big step towards qualification.
