Could the decision of Spain, Norway and Ireland change the situation?

The Hebrew state learned on Wednesday that Norway, Spain and Ireland – three European countries – have accepted a Palestinian state until May 28, following a request by the International Criminal Court prosecutor for arrest warrants against several Israeli leaders.

Since the declaration of independence in 1988 by the Palestinian National Council in Algiers, 143 countries have already recognized Palestine. But today is the first time that many Western countries (except Eastern Europe) officially and in one. The voice recognizes the existence of a Palestinian state. The decision therefore breaks the Western consensus, which requires mutual recognition of Israel and the Palestinian Authority through negotiation and agreement, before recognizing Palestinian sovereignty.
