Cartoon Movie is one of the most important professional forums for co-production of European animated feature films.. It takes place from March 9th to 11th In the city of Bordeaux in France. The 2021 version is virtual because of the health crisis.
About 800 animated filmmakers, investors, film distributors, and television content buyers attend the event each year.
They examine promising animated film projects that have the potential to reach the big screen. The event is organized by Cartoon, a non-profit organization supported by the European Union’s Media Program.

Fifty-five animated feature film projects are being presented this year in 16 European countries for a total of 297 million euros or 76 hours of programming.
France is at the forefront of these projects, followed by Spain, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Romania and Ireland.
