Olivia Coleman admits that the ‘crown’ of her career will be a very tough one.

After two seasons on the Netflix Regal drama, 46-year-old actress Elizabeth is stepping down from the role of Queen. Imelda Stuart will take over. She also admitted that she is excited about taking on new projects. She will miss the set a lot, and I don’t think anything else compares to how good a time she had.

She said: “As an actor, I’m excited to do other roles, but I’m enjoyed this job so much, and I’m going to miss sitting and laughing with everyone on the set.

Bolivia enjoyed filming in Scotland for scenes where the Royals were present during the annual summer vacation at the Balmoral Estate.

She said: “Balmoral is a place where the Windsor family can properly escape, enjoy the door and do the things they really love.

“In fact, I think we all enjoyed filming the week more than anyone else in Scotland.

“It was very beautiful and friendly and the shooting outside of those locations and those hills was exciting.

“I usually start to fade around 3pm, but I never had that feeling there.

“I loved it. I loved dogs and Land Rovers. Who knew a silk scarf would give your ears a warm glow?”

The Oscar-winning actress praised the “joy” that her makeup artist brings to the set every day.

She said: “My makeup artist Sue David is the greatest joy of the day. She is a fast worker. She did my wigs, makeup, drank a cup of tea, and I got out of the chair telling her jokes before anyone else even said good morning.

“Temples are getting gray this season, and the department for eyelashes is low.”
