Belgium Barbarians in Ireland's last four

The Belgium Barbarians distinguished themselves at Midnight 7 in Ireland this Saturday, July 27: the team reached the semi-finals of the cup and missed the final.

Midnight 7 from Tullamore, Ireland have been performing well for Belgium Barbarians in recent years. Winners of the 2019 tournament and finalists in 2022, the Babas added a second Cup semi-final to their record since 2018.

The group managed by François-David Marriott dominated their three opponents in group games against Ballinasloe (47-10), Mo Rugby (36-5) and North Kildare (19-7). Belgium Barbarians, who topped the group, then beat Scrum and Coke in the quarter-finals (47-0).

In the semi-finals, the Louvanistre team, including Lucas Lamotte, saw their journey come to an end against the Fat Geese. The Belgium Barbarians lost 24-26 against the Tullamore Rugby Sevens team.
