Due to the latest developments in the Kovid-19 pandemic, the United Kingdom has decided to close the borders of six countries: South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho, Ishwatini, Zimbabwe and Botswana. In golf, this is enough to create a cascade effect: the Jബർberg Open is underway, the first tournament on the DP World Tour 2022 calendar.

Many players from the British Isles are registered here. From noon today (GMT) all flights from the above countries will be blocked and there will be a rush to return. Seventeen of them were immediately abandoned in effect, and two hosts were to be added to it.

South Africans appear among retirees Van der Berg and Jean-Paul Stride, British Oliver Fisher, David Howell, Graeme Storm, Steven Brown, Richard McIvoy, Andrew Wilson, Matthew Jordan, Matt Ford, In Northern Ireland Cormac Sharwin, Jonathan Caldwell, Irish Paul Dunn, Niall Kearney, Scottish Liam Johnston, Richie Ramsey, Craig Howe And Welsh Oliver Farr.

One circumstance, which is quite unusual and inevitably marks the progress of the tournament, although none of these are mentioned, was a significant battle for the head.
