Association for French and Francophone Studies in Ireland Doctoral Day

The Association for French and Francophone Studies in Ireland (adeffi) invites young researchers in French and Francophone studies to attend the Doctoral Students' Day at the University of Limerick in a hybrid format.21 September 2024. The day is intended to be an opportunity for doctoral students to present their research to our interdisciplinary community and take stock of it in a university context. To make this exchange as open and diverse as possible, we invite proposals for papers in English or French from all areas of French and Francophone studies. The day will also include a session open to Master's students: “Work in Progress” session Open to doctoral students and independent researchers, the “Work in Progress” session will take the form of a series of five- to ten-minute interactions to summarize the participant's current research or seek feedback from their peers on their research. It also aims to present a side.

Proposals should be sent, in French or English, as soon as possible to adeffipostgrad@gmail.com, before the deadline of Saturday 24th August. The structure varies depending on the type of intervention:

For 20 minutes communication: 300 words proposal

For the “Work in Progress” session: A brief content proposal (maximum 100 words)

Please indicate whether your involvement is face-to-face or remote, and attach a short biographical note with your university connection to any proposal.
