With a busy schedule at home and abroad, sports fans will have to claim their place in bed early this weekend.
Home offers include Mount Juliet’s Irish Open and the semi-finals of All-Ireland senior hurling at Croke Park, as Andy Farrell’s Irish team will begin their tour of New Zealand on Saturday morning.
The international sports classics Wimbledon and Tour de France continue, while Formula 1 returns to Silverstone for the British Grand Prix.
