Louisiana State University Football coach Ed Orgeron revealed on Tuesday that most of the team has already picked up the novel. Coronavirus.

“I think – not all of our players – but most of our players caught it,” Orgeron said Tuesday during a teleconference. “So, I hope they never catch it again and they’ll not be out of games.”

“I’m not going to say them all,” he continued when asked for clarity. “But some players caught it. I do not know the percentage. I think once you catch it you will never get it again.”

Orgeron said the team currently has “about three or four” viruses and few players are on board – although he did not specify the exact number.

Except for two or three offending linemen, everyone else missed the training because they were tested two weeks ago.

“We were the best of all the camps going into the season right now, and obviously we need to be very careful,” Orgeron said. “Our people are fine.”
