As the clock descends on Apple’s virtual virtual event on Tuesday, last – minute leaks of this year’s iPhone generation continue. However, not all of them are as promising as the word about the 120 Hz refresh rate display expected on the iPhone 12. Pro. When Apple’s first lidar sensor debuted on the iPod Pro, it would have made great sense on an iPhone at first. The lidar can be used for enhanced AR and improved plain photography, making it a perfect fit for a portable handheld device like an iPhone. Naturally, there is a rumor that Apple will bring that technology to iPhones as well, starting with the iPhone 12.

There have been multiple ors rumors and leaks about the lidar on the iPhone 12 Pro models, but so far the focus has been on the 6.7-inch larger iPhone 12 Pro Max. A new leak alleged to be the chassis of the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, however, suggests it could be a family affair.

Be it a smart connector or a 5G antenna, the short video clip draws attention to some still unrecognized cutouts. However, the more pleasing edges of the phone say more about replacing the SIM tray to the bottom of the device. It is expected to announce the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, along with the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max, the non-Pro 6.1-inch iPhone 12 and the 5.4-inch standard iPhone 12 model. There is still some uncertainty about the actual availability of these phones, with the iPhone 12 Pro Duo set to launch in late October or November.
