Kovid-19 Lockdown Update: Areas of Restriction Possible as Government Set to Work

The government will take action on Tuesday to increase the number of cases when it comes to agreeing to the ‘Living with Covid’ scheme.

Taoich Michael Martin told RTE’s The Week in Politics: “We will work decisively.

“We are also mindful that we want to develop a pattern over the next six months, because we can’t jump from week to week based on feedback.

“We will be consulting with the CMO before Tuesday, but not with my colleagues.

The latest cases

The health department announced 255 cases on Sunday. Of these, 156 are in Dublin. One more death was confirmed.

In the last 24 hours, Waterford has seen a jump of 22 cases from 13 in Donegal.

The other 11 are in Wicklow, nine in Limerick, eight in Kildare and five in Claire, while the remaining 31 cases are in Carlo, Cork, Galway, Kerry, Laois, Longford, Lot, Mayo, Meath, Ofali, Tipperary, Westmeath and Wexford.
