Announced this year IFA 2020 The new KUBB seems to have come from the brain of the famous French designer Philippe Stark. It is a perfect cube with 12cm sides, complete with sharp edges and corners.
There are two versions of this small PC available, one running the embedded Ryzen R1606G and the other the V1605B. Both share the same feature: 8GB LPDDR4 (upgradable to 32GB), Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and Realtek’s Gigabyte Ethernet credit.
Despite its size, it has five USB ports and two HDMI 2.0A connectors capable of delivering 4K content at 60 Hz. However, the base unit does not include any storage, so you will need to plug in a 2.5-inch SATA drive or an M2 PCI NVM SSD.
The company offers a three-year warranty and an amazing operating system (Windows 10 Pro or Linux Mint).
The 4-core V1605B with Linux Mint and non-portable hand-made shells sells for $ 679 (approximately $ 800 / £ 600 / AU $ 1,100). A wooden model sells for an additional $ 131, while Windows 10 Pro adds another € 170.
