Radisson Hotel Group has announced the opening of Ireland's first Radisson Red Hotel, located in Galway as part of the Crown Square project. Radisson RED Galway opened its doors in October and will join Radisson RED's growing portfolio of more than 85 hotels in operation and development.
Located close to Galway Main Station, the Radisson Red Galway offers 177 rooms featuring art, music and fashion. Designed by Henry J Lyons Architects, the eight-storey building will overlook Galway Bay and the Clare Hills from its rooftop bar and restaurant.
The hotel is equipped to host meetings and events, with over 400 square meters of dedicated space. A 300 square meter multi-purpose conference room, which can be divided into two meeting rooms, and a 200 square meter meeting room provide flexibility for various event formats.
The project, representing an investment of 40 million euros, was developed by the Rattigan Group and built by JJ Rattigan & Company. Rattigan Group, already responsible for the development of the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel and the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, continues to enrich Ireland's hotels and events scene.
