Work hard or quit: Twitter’s employees will be forced to sign a commitment agreeing to work up to 80 hours a week. ‘Only exceptional performance will get a pass mark.’

Working from home is excluded, work weeks will last 80 hours and employees will receive few benefits: just some of the rules presented on Twitter by Elon Musk, who was bought three weeks ago. Those who do not like the new working conditions can resign. Musk made the announcement in an email to employees, he writes The Washington Post. Staff members will be given one day to complete an online form: they will either accept the new style or receive 3 months’ severance pay.

That new style will be “extremely hardcore,” Musk said in an email, with long hours and heavy workloads. ‘Only exceptional performance will get a pass mark.’

Musk’s difficult message comes shortly after he laid off nearly half of his employees. Almost all top management had get better. The remaining employees have already won Very unpleasant. Musk has warned that Twitter fears bankruptcy if it doesn’t start receiving the $44 billion buyout soon.

Meanwhile in court

Musk’s impressive new rules come at a time when he himself has to appear in court. Today, the millionaire filed his defense in the Delaware court in the United States. A shareholder in his car company, Tesla, has it taken to court Because, as CEO, he granted himself an option package that they considered too generous.

Richard Tornetta argues that Musk received that favorable wage without working full-time for Tesla. He was involved in SpaceX rockets and more. Meanwhile, he admitted in court that Musk had shifted his focus entirely to Twitter. “In times of crisis, attention goes to where the crisis is,” he said. Both Musk and Tesla’s management claim that the value of the shares has increased tenfold under his leadership.
