A draft agreement to combat global warming will be presented today at the UN Environment Conference in Paris.

The document was adopted after two weeks of intense negotiations, concluding with a final round of marathon negotiations.

The aim of the conference was to establish measures to reduce the impact of pollution on catastrophic climate phenomena.

Last-minute talks were held at the UN conference in Bourget, near Paris, to limit global warming. Evidence of divergences still exist between different countries regarding measures to limit greenhouse gas emissions and financing measures to adapt to climate warming.

The latest agreement, presented by the conference’s president, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, was due to be ready this morning.

He was supposed to speak half an hour ago, after which another delay was recorded, an indication that some terms were negotiated at the last minute.

French President Francois Hollande, who arrived a few minutes early to speak at the end of the conference in Bourget, expressed his desire to reach an agreement binding everyone with mandatory measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. A sum of more than 100 billion euros per year collected by highly industrialized countries to help less developed countries.

Whether it’s a success or a failure, we won’t know until the day after the vote on the deal
