(Pocket-lint) – Last month Starzplay changed its name to Lionsgate+, and Lionsgate’s streaming service has arrived as an app on many TVs and smart devices like the Fire TV. Now it is also available on Sky platforms.

The Lionsgate+ app is available now on Sky Glass and Sky Stream, with a Sky Q version coming “later this week” to UK and Ireland customers. It will be available on Sky Q and Sky Glass in Italy and Sky Q in Germany “later this year”.

The app provides access to the streaming service, including TV series such as Pennyworth, Doom Patrol, Gaslit and Outlander, as well as many archive films such as American Psycho and the timely Halloween Saga.

Today’s Pocket-lint video

A Lionsgate+ subscription costs £5.99 per month in the UK and €4.99 per month in Ireland. This is regardless of the platform you subscribe to.

You must register at Lionsgate+ website (not possible through the app itself), but new members get a 30-day trial period.

The same subscription works on other platforms, including Android, iPhone, iPad, and PC (including Macs and Chromebooks). You can also download shows to mobile devices for offline viewing.
