On the road for the weekend: weather for October 22 and 23 – weather news

General situation This weekend : A low pressure area will be centered between offshore Galicia and Ireland (980 to 990 hPa), while a high pressure area will extend from Switzerland to Corsica (1020 hPa). The resulting southwesterly flow will give us variable weather with a risk of rain. Winds will be fairly steady and then strong on Sunday, which will be subject to further agitation especially in Finisterre.


Saturday, October 22: Cloudy with light rain



The weather promises to change with high clouds covering more or less the sun. The sky is still bright in the eastern part of the region. Finistere and the Morbihan coast are affected by gray weather with some scattered showers.


Winds are moderate with gusts of 40 to 50 km/h up to 60 km/h along the Erois coast.


Low temperatures are mild, ranging from 12 to 14 °C in the interior and 14 to 15 °C or 16 °C along the coasts and islands.


From the Monts d’Arry to the Loire-Atlantique, high temperatures are fairly mild, between 17 and 21°C.


A rainy front crosses the area overnight Saturday into Sunday.


Sunday, October 23: Rain, drizzle and agitation



The weather is unsettled with rain and drizzle. Finisterre is affected by strong southerly winds of 80-90 km/h and more frequent showers.


The minimum temperature will be between 14 and 17 degrees.


In the afternoon, the mercury is 17 to 22 degrees Celsius.


Littoral


Saturday weather may vary; It becomes more unsettled and turbulent on the Finisterre and Morbihan coasts on Sunday with turbulent winds between the Channel Entrance and the Morbihan Islands.


The sea temperature varies between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius.


Sea conditions promise to deteriorate in Irois. Tide coefficients reach 78 by Sunday afternoon.
