With the change of ownership, the Mont Glon restaurant reopened in mid-September after being closed for 2 months. New managers Tifain and Sebastien Perrin have taken advantage of this time of closure to give this bar-restaurant, which is well-placed in Town Hall Square, a facelift. New layouts, new furniture in the dining room and kitchen, redecorating the bar and repainting, work to close this time for the summer. Henceforth, this restaurant bar will be called “”.St. Florent“.

Sébastien Perrin, trained at the Ecole Hotelier in his pocket, became a chef and worked for more than 20 years in many regions of France and abroad, such as Ireland. Together with his wife Tifine, they want to offer simple and seasonal cuisine made with local and regional products. Meat, fish, vegetables, cheeses, beers and even brash cola come from local suppliers or within 150km. “We want to enable the local economy, reduce transportation costs and provide ultra-fresh produce. »

Menus are served from Tuesday to Sunday for lunch. In the evenings and on weekends, the chef offers aperitif platters, a selection of local cold cuts, cheeses, oysters and “spreads”.

Practical: Le Saint Florent, 7 place d’Armes, Saint-Florent-le-Vieil. Open Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 9pm. Sunday 10 am to 10 pm. Contact: 02 41 72 60 82.
