Internet Desk: The number of cyber attacks targeting user data has been increasing in recent years. Password management company LastPass has learned that its source code was hacked a few days ago. Recently, American gaming company 2K also tweeted that it has been hacked. 2K advises users not to click on e-mails and web links purporting to be support. If any users have clicked on the links in the name of the 2K support page, they are asked to immediately change their account passwords and delete saved passwords in their web browsers. Clicking on the fake link suggested the device to install anti-virus and enable multi-factor authentication feature.

“Third-party people hacked into our vendor page on Help Desk, a support page used by 2K Company to provide services to its customers. Some users were sent fake e-mails based on the information in it. Please do not click on them. Apologies for the inconvenience. We will resolve the issue immediately and notify you,” the tweet said. Hackers broke into Rockstar Games’ servers and leaked 90 videos related to the Grand Theft Auto 6 game. Gamers are concerned about the security of their data in the wake of continuous cyber attacks against gaming companies.
