“If the ETHW chain survives, Binance will meet all technical requirements to balance all users with ETH and WETH and credit the token fork at a 1:1 ratio,” the exchange wrote.

ETHW withdrawal will be available after some time – the trading platform will inform about this in a separate post.

In anticipation of the expected activation of The Merge on September 15, the exchange will take several additional measures, including the suspension of:

• WETH deposit and withdrawal from September 14;
• Converting WETH funds to ETH.

Users who borrowed ETH will also have to pay back the value of ETHW.

BETH holders will not receive Ethereum PoW tokens.

Formerly Binance Warned Regarding the upcoming suspension of input and output of Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens, blockchain migration from Proof-of-Work (PoW) algorithm to Proof-of-Stake is underway.
