Ferlay explained to a push briefing in entrance of the Cathedral of Saint Peter and Saint Paul that the fire was not as major as the 1 that engulfed Notre Dame in April 2019 and the harm is not as bad.
“I can validate that we are not in the Notre Dame of Paris condition, rooftop is not impacted,” Ferlay advised CNN affiliate BFM on Saturday.
“The destruction is concentrated on the organ, which seems to be completely wrecked. Its system is pretty unstable and could collapse,” he claimed.

Regional firefighters advised the general public in an earlier tweet to “keep away from the region… do not interfere with the rescue squad.”
