Daniel Hope is one of the busiest musicians of our time: always on the go, omnipresent on concert stages, radio and television. However, in August, he always takes time off, and then the barbecue fan likes to stand at the grill at his holiday home on Lake Worthersee.

Daniel Hoppe has been Music Director of the Zurich Chamber Orchestra (ZKO) since the 2016/2017 season. He strengthened the ZKO’s international reputation, expanded the ensemble’s repertoire and initiated interdisciplinary concert projects: the film lover likes to include other art forms, such as film or literature, in his programs.
In “Musiktalk im Sommer” he talks about his family roots in Ireland, his beloved Bernese Oberland and the Gstaad Menuhin Festival, where it all started musically for him.
