The Red Hot Chili Peppers canceled just hours before their gig in Scotland. Fans are angry – and some will lose a lot of money.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have canceled a concert in Glasgow just hours before taking to the stage at Bellahouston Park.

“Due to illness, RHCP will not be able to perform in Glasgow on July 1”, Says on Twitter On the morning of July 1st. “We are working on rescheduling. Please hold on to your tickets and look out for an update soon. RHCP loves Scotland and is very disappointed not to be able to do the show. Thank you for your understanding,” it continued.

There is little understanding in the comments

However, fans in the comments don’t show much understanding of the short-term cancellation. “Do you realize I’ve lost money for travel and lodging now? Are you planning to do anything about it?” An angry fan writes. Many feel that way, sometimes traveling hours from other cities and booking hotel rooms.

The father of a teenage girl said: “Unfortunately, spending £1,000 on travel and hotel from Ireland to relocate me and my family didn’t help. To be canceled just eight hours earlier is disgraceful. Thank you for breaking a girl’s heart.”

It is not known which member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers is sick and what is the disease.
