Ukraine won in Ireland
Ukraine also got off to a successful start in the Nations League after losing World Cup qualification. The Ukrainians won 1-0 (0-0) in Ireland. Victor Sigankov (48th minute) scored the decisive goal for his team in Dublin. As a result, Ukraine rose to second place in their group. Scotland are the table leaders with a 2-0 (2-0) victory over Armenia.
Ukraine missed out on a World Cup qualifier in Qatar last weekend after beating Wales 1-0 in the playoff final.
