Boxie pancakes full of Irish tradition jute are the perfect breakfast for a lazy breakfast!

This Irish breakfast has it all: try the classic boxy pancakes and enjoy the day!

4 Ingredients for serving:

  • 300 g flour potatoes
  • 60 ml cream
  • No. 1
  • 2 EL Mehl
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of freshly ground pepper
  • 2 EL butter

Preparation time:

  • 10 minutes (plus 10 minutes cooking time)

That’s how it does


  1. Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. In a large bowl, beat the cream with the eggs and fold in the mashed potatoes.
  2. Add flour and knead the mixture into a dough. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the butter in a pan and fry the boxy pancakes in it for four or five minutes on each side until golden brown.
