The Ukrainian leader hopes to compete in Mariupol in 2023. Boris Johnson also lauded the Kiev Group for its “unwavering support for your struggle for independence”.


“Eurovision will host next year for the third time in the history of Ukraine. We will do everything possible to make Mariupol a host city,” Selensky reiterated on his Telegram channel.

“It is hoped that next year’s Eurovision will be held in Kiev in a free and unified Ukraine,” added the President of the Council of Europe.
