Within the first three days after its theatrical release, the new James Bond film had already broken records in the UK and Ireland.
As reported by the Sky News broadcaster on Monday evening, “No Time to Die” grossed 25 25 million (equivalent to a whopping 29 29 million) at the box office in three days.
According to the report, he surpassed his predecessors “Skyfall” and “Specter”, landing the strongest opening weekend in Bond history in decades.
According to Universal Pictures, although not yet released in China and the USA, the film has already grossed 89 89 million (a good 10 104 million) internationally.
The 163-minute film is the fifth and final Bond film to portray Craig as Secret Agent 007.
