Electronic hacking: Phones of senior Spanish government officials have been hacked

Multiple political parties in Spain have complained about piracy

The Spanish government says the mobile phones of Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and Defense Minister Margarita Robles have been hacked.

Officials described the piracy process as illegal and extremely dangerous.

Defendant not disclosed.

The hacking was carried out using a Pegasus program developed by an Israeli company.
