The Red Flames will play their fourth warm-up match against Northern Ireland on June 23

The Belgian women’s national football team will play a warm-up match against Northern Ireland (FIFA 46) on Thursday, June 23. This completes the program for the Euro announced by the Belgian Football Union (URBSFA) on Wednesday.

“Northern Ireland were a great sparring partner before our first match against Iceland,” said national coach Ives Cernils. “They have the same style as northern European countries like Iceland. They may be 25 places behind us in the FIFA rankings, but they value their skin.” Friendly matches against England (June 16), Austria (June 26) and Luxembourg (June 28) were announced earlier. The only match away is against England.

The two nations will meet at the Molineux Stadium of Wolverhampton Wanderers, a Premier League club played by Red Devil Leander Dendonker. Like Belgium, Northern Ireland, England and Austria have qualified for the European Championships in England from July 6 to 31. France, Italy and Iceland are in Group D of the Red Flames, which is coached by national coach Ives Sernils.
