Ryanair doubles flights to Alghero “As the # 1 airline in Europe and Italy, Ryanair is pleased to announce the largest ever summer operation from Alghero, which offers more than 160 weekly flights on 22 routes, including four new routes from Bordeaux, Budapest, Cork and Dublin.” Director Jason McGuinness informed.

In 2019, Ryanair flights from Fertilia Airport were 90 per week, a significant increase compared to the previous pre-pandemic summer.

“This growth strengthens our commitment to Sardinia, connecting Alghero with 10 countries and providing much needed impetus to tourism this long-awaited summer.”

According to Irish Airlines, Ryanair’s connections to and from Alghero are expected to generate more than 1 million passengers and guarantee 750 indirect jobs in the region.

“Thanks to the Summer 2022 program, Ryan Air integrates itself as a major partner of Algero Airport and the North West Area, with 22 connections, 13 of which are international and 9 major Italian territories. Fabio Gallo, Sojial’s CFO & Business Development Director, commented.
