MediaTek launches two new mid-range processors MediaTek Dimensions 8000, 8100. They are built on a 5nm manufacturing process and will have processing power over the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870.

MediaTek Dimension 8000;

• 4 x ARM Cortex-A78 up to 2.75 GHz and 4 x ARM Cortex-A55 up to 2.0 GHz;
• Accelerator Graphic Mali-G610 MC6;
• APU 580 (5.0) Multi-Core for Artificial Intelligence and Neural Networks;
• Support for LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 RAM;
• ISO capable of supporting main cameras up to 200 megapixels or 32 + 32 + 16 megapixels;
• IPS Imagiq 780 capable of processing images at 5 gigapixels / second;
• Allows video recording in 4K at 60 fps, can decode 4K content at 60 fps, 1080p and 4K AV1 decoding at 120 fps in H.264 and H.265;
• MiraVision 780 support for screens with 2520 x 1080 pixels, 168Hz, HDR10 + adaptive, and 21: 9 aspect ratio;
• SA / NSA-enabled dual-mode integrated 5G modem for sub-6 GHz networks that can reach maximum download speeds of up to 4.7 Gbps, uploads up to 2.5 Gbps, 5G Ultrasound technology, VoNR (Voice over New Radio);
• MediaTek HyperEngine 5.0 for gaming;
• Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, Bluetooth LE Audio Q Dual Link True Wireless Stereo, Dual-Band GNSS şi LTE Cat.19.

MediaTek Dimension 8100;

• 4 x ARM Cortex-A78 up to 2.85 GHz and 4 x ARM Cortex-A55 up to 2.0 GHz;
• Mali-G610 MC6 graphics accelerator with frequency higher than MediaTek Dimension 8000 (20% increase);
• APU 580 (5.0) multi-core (frequency higher than MediaTek dimension 8000, which gives a 25% increase) for the part of the artificial intelligence and neural network;
• Support for LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 RAM;
• ISO capable of supporting main cameras up to 200 megapixels or 32 + 32 + 16 megapixels;
• IPS Imagiq 780 capable of processing images at 5 gigapixels / second;
• Allows video recording in 4K at 60 fps, can decode 4K content at 60 fps, 1080p and 4K AV1 decoding at 120 fps in H.264 and H.265;

The MediaTek Dimension 8000 and 8100 are two powerful processors, some of which are commonly found on smartphones priced at $ 300-400. The first phones with these processors will launch this month, breaking the Realmy GT Neo 3 Ice.
