DFB women improve Ireland’s success in Montenegro

Sixth Game, Sixth Victory: For German footballers, qualifying for the 2022 European Championships in England is just a matter of form. After a 3-0 (2-0) win over Montenegro, the DFB selection put up a disappointing performance but extended their lead in Group I.

In the ghost game played in Podgorica, Laura Freegong (second) and Melanie Loupoles (45th + 1) scored in a very tough first half. After the break, Designer Maroson went down as a valuable joker for his 100th international match, with Sidney Lohmann (59th) rising.

“It was difficult. It was very difficult for us today, but it was a special thing for me,” Marroson said, often complaining about slow pace and wrong decisions against a deep and very limited opponent.

European champions Germany now have a five-point lead over Ireland. 37: 0 goals in the second quarter against Greece (November 27) and Ireland (December 1).

Ten new players in the first XI

As announced, national coach Martina Vos-Teklenberg reconstructed the Essene three days after their 3-0 win over Ireland at eleven. Lൂപpoles was the only player left from the Ireland formation and led the DFB selection in an extraordinary 3-4-3 formation as captain.

Some regulars, such as regular captain Alexandra Pope, were excluded from the trip to the Balkans. Julia Gwynn (Kyria Cruciate Ligament) and Leah Schuller (neck injury) were also ruled out due to injuries.

Tabea Waßmuth and Paulina Krumbiegel (both TSG Hoffenheim) made their debuts on the inexperienced team (average 15.9 international matches). Like the Fire Brigade, they started at a pointless group base (first quarter 10: 0).

Just 69 seconds later, the promising Frankfurt newcomer Freigang opened his DFB goal account in the second international. But the German game lacked ideas, speed and determination on a later broken pitch.

Marozsan im 100er-club

Half an hour later, DFB goalkeeper Laura Bencart had to intervene for the first time when Armisa Cook took the shot. Freegang (35 ‘), on the other hand, headed Lena Latvine’s free-kick into the crossbar, and then Loupoles headed in just before Crumbigel’s cross just before the break.

After the break, Vos-Telenberg allowed Maroson to enter the 100 clubs as promised (53 ‘). No. 10 replaced Lupolis, attempting to set the captain’s armband in the upper arm in the structure of the game. But with excessive dominance, many remained fragmented.
