ASUS launches Intel B660 chipset motherboards in Romania (ProArt B660-Creator D4, TUF GAMING B660-PLUS WIFI D4, ROG Strix B660-F gaming WiFi): Gadget.ro – Hi-Tech Lifestyle

In early 2022, ASUS released motherboards on Intel Z690, H670, B660 and H610 chipsets. They are designed to support 12th generation Intel Core processors.

Motherboards developed on the Intel B660 chipset have arrived in our country. Newer boards developed on the Intel B660 chipset include PCIe 5.0 slot, memory overclocking, and support for DDR5 or DDR4 memory modules. On the connectivity side they have WiFi 6 and USB Type-C. In terms of software, they have Windows 11 support.

There are three models:

1. ASUS ProArt B660-Creator D4;

It has a PCI Express x16 5.0 graphical interface, an integrated network card capable of speeds of up to 2500 Mbps, 3 M.2 slots, 4 SATA-III slots, 4 RAM slots, and theoretically a maximum of 128 GB. Connectivity options include 1 x HDMI, 1 x display port, 4 x USB 2.0, 4 x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type A, 1 x USB Type-C 3.2 Gen.2 and audio support 7.1.

2. ASUS TUF Gaming B660- Plus WiFi D4;

Hundreds of lees are cheaper than the previous model. Adopts ATX format and 1700 processor socket, optimized for 12th generation Intel Core processors. Specifications are similar to the B660-Creator D4 (supports 4 x SATA-III, 3 x M.2, 4 RAM slots and up to 128 GB of RAM). It also has Wi-Fi on a / b / g / n / ac / ax standards and Bluetooth 5.2. Connectivity options include 1 x HDMI, 1 x DisplayPort, 1 x USB 2.0, 3 x USB 3.2 Gen1, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen2 and 1 x USB 3.2 Type-C Gen 2. Here the speed is up to 2500. The wired internet connection has reached Mbps.

3. ASUS ROG Strix B660-F Gaming WiFi;

Repeat for most of the above features:

  • ATX with 1700 processor socket, PCI Express x16 5.0 for graphical interface;
  • Support for DDR5 RAM, up to a maximum of 128 GB of memory, 4 available slots, 4 x SATA-III, 3 x M.2;
  • Provides connectivity to HDMI, DisplayPort, 2 x USB 2.0, 4 x USB 3.2 Gen1, 1 USB Type-C Gen1, another Gen.2, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen2, Wi-Fi access and Bluetooth 5.2.
