Italy go to Dublin, 2-0 to Ireland – Football

Italy beat Ireland’s Under-21s to win their fourth match in five matches in the qualifying round for the 2023 European Championship, regaining their recent ridiculous draw with Sweden.

It ended 2-0 in Dublin thanks to the impressions of Luka and Concelliേരിre, allowing the Azzurri to climb to 13 points, with -1 left from Sweden with one more match to go.

Despite not scoring in five Serie B games with Pizza, Lorenzo ‘unkorked’ the first half, which was blocked in Luca’s half-hour stroke, finding the back of the net in the blue with a clear error by O’Brien. The Irish defender drops the ball after a cross from the right, allowing the attacker to split and sign 1-0.

However, in the second half, the match was open, with the hosts trying to find a way to a draw, with the newcomer Tierney: Phenomenal Carnegie trying to close the door in the 82nd minute. On the other hand, Colombo, Maher denied the doubling goal. Italy found the back of the net 2-0 in the 90th minute thanks to Cancelieri’s goal, and it started without a single encounter with Luka’s goalkeeper.
