Ryan Air cuts flights to Trapani and Sicily Here’s what and why

Ryanair cut hundreds of flights to and from Sicily in January, including Trapani Birgi Airport.
As demand plummeted, the Irish Low-Cost Company decided to cut back significantly between 10 and 31 January 2022.

Below are the details published by Cecilia in Volo.

– The connection from Catania to Barry and the following foreign destinations has been suspended: Athens – Malta – Marseille – Sofia. Bergamo – Cagliari – Genoa – Malpensa – Perugia – Pisa – Rome – Venice – Verona – Trieste – Frankfurt – Vienna frequencies decreased.

– Flights from Comiso to Barry and Bergamo were suspended, and frequencies to Malpensa and Rome were reduced.

– National routes from Palermo to Guinea and Perugia and overseas routes to Dൽsseldorf – Weiss – Edinburgh – Lviv – Marseille – Memmingen – Nuremberg – Toulouse – Valencia have been suspended. Low frequencies to Charleroi and London and to national destinations Bari – Bergamo – Bologna – Cagliari – Genoa – Malpensa – Naples – Pisa – Rome – Venice.

– Bergamo – from Tropani cuts to Pizza and Turin and cuts to Charleroi – London – Malta.
