Mobile telephony services on the rise! Leader Telecom Serbia, second place A1 Serbia, Telenor third!

Small differences in the value of the overall result achieved between the three operators show a unified standard of service that operators provide to their customers.

Telecom Serbia had the best overall score of 85.66 points, while A1 Serbia came in second with 82.73 points out of 100, overtaking Telenor. Telenor fell to third place with 82.14 points.

Measured quality parameters for voice service and data transmission services, as well as measurements of this year’s innovative WhatsAPP message transmission, as well as radio parameters for 2G / 3G / 4G technologies. The networks were tested simultaneously on mobile phones, on the same routes, in small and large urban areas, as well as on open roads.

Telecom Srbija and A1 Srbija received similar results in data transfer tests (large and small files) and achieved 50 to 55 percent of the maximum possible points. Due to the high average transfer rate of small files, A1 Serbia got a slight advantage. Telenor performed poorly in these tests. The A1 network had the lowest average connection time in almost all environments. Telecom Srbija has excellent voice service performance, mainly due to the low number of missed calls.

According to RATEL, the benchmark for mobile networks was first implemented by enforcing European international standards that enable objective evaluation of all mobile network operators, user experience and service quality. The quality of services was measured on mobile networks in 55 cities of the Republic of Serbia, 15,000 km of roads and 1,800 km of railway corridors.
