Samsung has announced a partnership with IBM to develop new technologies that will revolutionize the world of electronics.

As a result of its collaboration with IBM, Samsung has developed a new technology for making electronic chips using 1 nanometer technology.

Samsung explained that VTFET technology with a vertical power transmission will allow the processor to be nearly doubled in performance and save about 85% on the power consumption of electronic devices compared to the FinFET technology used in the latest current processors.

Experts believe that the new technology will enable future developers to use high-performance processors in phones, computers, smart devices, and many electronics used in transportation, aerospace, and communications.

In a technical presentation dedicated to reviewing its new technologies, Samsung noted, “The current global shortage of electronics semiconductors highlights the need for investment and research in the field of electronic chips and the innovative importance of the consumer electronics and electronics sectors, including electronics, which are essential for providing vital services.
