Any new regulatory measures will be discussed Thursday at a meeting between the state and Lander before passing through parliament.

Austria, lockdown from Monday for those who have not been vaccinated – Meanwhile, in Austria, Chancellor Alexander Shalenberg on Monday announced that in a bid to curb the record number of new cases, the lockdown will take effect for those who have not been vaccinated and those who have not been recently infected with Kovid. “The situation is serious. We do not take this step lightly, but unfortunately it is necessary,” he said.

Israel approves vaccines for children – Anti-Kovid vaccination for children 5 to 11 years of age has been given the green light by Pfizer-Bioentech doses, hoping to prevent the Kovid-19 pandemic after the United States. “Most experts thought the benefits outweighed the risks,” the health ministry explained. Over the summer, authorities launched a new campaign for the third dose and vaccinated children ages 12-17.

The fourth wave in Germany – In Germany, infections and deaths have skyrocketed since mid-October, with Germany’s relatively low vaccination rate as the fourth wave at around 67%. With 289 cases per 100,000 people, the incident reached a new high on Sunday, the health agency of the Robert Koch Institute said.

To the new restrictions? – In the run-up to the “Kovid Summit” of federal and local leaders on Thursday, new measures to curb the rise of infections are being discussed. The three presidents, known as the “traffic light parties” (SPD, Greens, FDP), want to re-tighten legislation on Kovid, and discuss restrictions on non-vaccinated people.
