CR7 shirt donated to a teenager who attacked rural Ireland

DUBLIN (Reuters) – A teenager stormed the field where Ireland and Portugal played on Thursday and won the Cristiano Ronaldo shirt. The girl entered the lawn after the final whistle of a goalless draw between the host team and the Portuguese team.

Portugal and Ireland clash in the Irish capital for European qualifiers for the World Cup. The match took place at Lansdowne Road Stadium in Dublin.

The girl came on the field after the last whistle. She escaped from the security guards and was able to get closer to Cristiano Ronaldo. With tears in his eyes, the teenager asked for the Portuguese star’s shirt and accepted the dress as a gift.

With a draw, Portugal leads Group A with 17 points. The Serbian team has the same number of points but the goal difference is small. The direct venue for the World Cup in Qatar will be defined in a direct confrontation between the two teams. Portugal and Serbia play the final round on Sunday the 14th.
