The number of countries committed to reducing methane emissions has risen to 100

As announced by the European Commission in a note, the number of countries that have signed a pledge to reduce methane emissions by 30% by 2030, including Switzerland, has risen to more than 100 (out of 80).

More than 100 countries, which represent 70% of the global economy, have now joined the initiative launched by the European Union and the US:

Albania, Andorra, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Armenia, Barbados, Belgium, Belize, Benin, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Canada, Central African Republic, Chile, Colombia, Republic , Croatia, Cyprus, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Denmark, Djibouti, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, United Arab Emirates, Estonia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Philippines, Finland, France , Jordan, Greece, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Kitz & Nevis, Iceland, Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Liberia, Libya, Luxembourg, Malawi, Mali, Mali, Mali , Monaco, Montenegro, Nauru, Nepal, New Zealand, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Norway, Holland, Pakistan, Palau, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Portugal, United Kingdom, Rwanda, Senegal, Serbia, Singapore, Singapore , South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Suriname, Togo, Tonga, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uruguay, Vanuatu, Vietnam, Zambia.
