In February, LG announced that more than 20 international TV makers, including RCA, Ions and Konka, had already signed up for the WebOS partnership. WebOS TV licenses take advantage of LG user experience with features such as search and voice control, built-in artificial intelligence algorithms, and connectivity. At the time, content integration options included Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, DAZN, and LG Channels, the company’s ad-supported streaming service.

“The Web OOS platform is the easiest and most convenient way to access millions of hours of movies and TV shows,” said Park Hyung-sei, president of LG Home Entertainment. By welcoming other manufacturers to join the WebOS TV Ecosystem, we are embarking on a new journey that will allow many new TV owners to experience the same user experience and functionality available on LG TVs. We want to bring these new customers into the wonderful world of WebOS TV. “
